GuestWent to see a 2016 A7 earlier this week that looked absolutely pristine in the listing photos, silver on black with the S line pack and what seemed like a clean history, and I was about two seconds away from making an offer because the seller was really pushing for a quick sale and the price was almost too good to be true, but a friend talked me into getting a proper inspection before committing and I’m so glad I listened because the Dubai Audi Certified Vehicle Inspection I booked came back with a whole list of things I would have never spotted on my own, including a minor oil leak from the rear main seal area and some stored fault codes in the transmission module that the seller had clearly cleared before I showed up, plus evidence that the front bumper had been resprayed which they never mentioned, and now I’m just relieved I didn’t get emotionally attached to a car that would have been a headache from day one, honestly for the few hundred dirhams it cost me it’s the best money I never spent on a bad deal, if anyone’s looking at a used Audi around here just do yourself a favor and get it checked properly because a shiny exterior and a smooth test drive don’t always tell the whole story.
